ABOUT US

Singapore’s Number One Events Caterer with a leading market share.

Our Milestones

1992

The year it all began

Mr Neo Kah Kiat started his catering dream in a small 2,000 sq ft shared kitchen in Joo Chiat. He names it Neo Garden Restaurant. There, he worked hard alongside eight of his employees with one simple goal: To provide quality food for his customers.

1994

Journey to the West

Rising rental costs compels Mr Neo to keep a lookout for more viable options. His search ends in a coffeeshop right across the island in Jurong West – a 4,000 sq ft shop space that can comfortably accommodate his growing business. This is also where he built his first central kitchen.

1996

3015 Bedok North

Business flourishes. Mr Neo makes a decision to shift to a 3,000 sq ft shop space in Bedok to ease congestion during peak hours. This was the first strategic move to decentralise our central kitchen so we have a backup plan in the event of any mishaps.

1998

1 Kaki Bukit Road

There was an increasing need for a bigger kitchen. To cope with the growing demand, we shifted to this new central kitchen which sits all the way in the East, in a 10,000 sq ft property on 1 Kaki Bukit Road.

2004

A new brand is born on 6A Wan Lee Road

Deli Hub, Neo Group’s first halal-certified catering arm is established to serve a growing pool of corporate customers. As business proliferates, we’re prompted to make yet another move. This time, to a 7,600 sq ft premise at 6A Wan Lee Road – a property that’s not just rented, but fully owned by the Group.

2007

More than just catering

umisushi marks our first foray into the food retail market. This Japanese quick-service dining concept opened its doors at Eunos MRT station and has since evolved into a popular chain with over 20 outlets island-wide.

2008

The start of a household name

Orange Clove, an East-West fusion catering concept launches. Its finer selection of food and presentation gives corporate customers an exquisite option to impress their guests on important occasions.

2010

Moving up the value chain

Procurement arm NKK Import & Export Trading opens for business, giving us direct access to manufacturers and distributors for our raw materials.

2011

We bought a property

We crossed a milestone by acquiring an immense 272,000 sq ft space at 30B Quality Road. And we have big plans for it.

2012

We are public!

Neo Group Limited is officially listed on SGX Catalist in July 2012.

2013

1 Enterprise Road

The address where all of the Group’s departments – operations, corporate headquarter, central kitchens – come together to operate as one. In a 75,000 sq ft property on 1 Enterprise Road.

2014

At the same time, Best Catering starts fulfilling its first batch of tingkat orders to families island-wide. Over at our Retail division, NANAMI Udon and issho izakaya becomes the latest talk of the town as they enter the local Japanese dining scene.
